I'd just like to agree with others who say that referring to 'United' when talking about Manchester Utd is the mark of a total bellend. People who do this clearly have no respect for our clubs name. I can't imagine Newcastle supporters doing it.

Only because of tards on sky sports and motd. 'united' and 'city' were local terms in Manchester.
It's demeaning to other Uniteds in my book and when our own use it I cringe. As bad as saying EPL in my book. When I was a kid in East London if someone said united I wouldn't have had a clue as to what team you were referring to. If all clubs in London were prefixed 'london' then west ham would be the only 'united' and that's what we'd call us.
